Today is November 22, 2017 -
Contact your group of dinner guests at least 2 weeks in advance via phone or email to confirm that they are attending. Please give each guest the following information:
1) Address and Time: Choose a time that works for your group. We recommend starting dinners between 6 and 7:30pm, and recommend dinners with children to begin at 6pm.
2) Menu: You will receive an email from us regarding what the menu is, and we ask that you share this with your guests and report back to us if there are concerns. While we automatically adjust each meal based on food allergies/concerns that each person indicates at sign up, please let us know if there is anything else we can plan for (ex…doesn’t like fish, kids won’t eat chicken, etc). New this year – let us know if you would prefer to cook, and we will reimburse a portion of the cost.
3) What to Bring: Assign each guest one item to bring: Kosher wine, Kosher juice, challah, salad with pareve dressing, or fruit.
Please send us an email confirming your guest list 5 days before your program date, so we have appropriate meals ready. Include names of attendees (so we can accommodate dietary concerns). Hosts can pick up packaged meals and a “Shabbat in a Box” Thursday 1-5p or Friday 9a-3p in the Beth El office. If these times do not work, please contact the office to make arrangements. Within 5 days after your meal, please return your “Shabbat in a Box” to Beth El.
