Join Hazzan Michael Krausman for Echoes and Reflections – A Multimedia Approach to the Holocaust. This unique curriculum was prepared by Yad Vashem, ADL and the USC Shoah Foundation. Together we will examine the development, course and implications of the Shoah using a combination of sources including historical documents and photos as well as video clips of eye witness testimony.

Participants will:

  • Understand the Holocaust as a significant event in history that continues to have universal implications.
  • Recognize the complexity of individual choices and dilemmas during the Holocaust.
  • Examine how prejudicial attitudes and discriminatory practices can escalate to violence.
  • Define the role and responsibility of the individual to uphold the principles of a democracy.
