“More than the Jewish People have kept the Sabbath, the Sabbath has kept the Jews.” – Ahad Ha’am
Celebrating Shabbat is central to living a Jewish life. We are so happy to give you numerous opportunities to come with your family and be part of our congregation. We are blessed to have a wonderful group of little ones that are our newest and most important members of Beth El Synagogue. We want each one of our Pre-Schoolers to feel like Beth El is their home and we want them to feel extremely comfortable in the building. That being said, we are offering wonderful Shabbat programs for your toddlers and pre-school aged children and for the entire family.
Tot Shabbat: Especially for ages 0-6yrs. Parent must accompany your child
Torah Tots: Ages 4-5 with their Parents
The Torah Tots program will be held twice a month for students ages 4-5 and their parents. Students ages 3-5 and their parents will be introduced to our Talmud Torah program. They will begin to develop a basic understanding of holidays, customs, ceremonies, Bible Stories and key Hebrew vocabulary. This class will be taught by Morah Felicia Littky, with help from Rabbi Abraham, Hazzan Krausman and many other guests! If you have a younger sibling, please take them to the babysitting room during class at no charge.
The March 17 session will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 am, followed by the Purim Carnival from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Habonim: Grades K-2
Do you remember being part of USY? What about our kids in Kindergarten-2nd grade? Let’s get started with our newest best friends and have some fun. Mark your calendars today!
All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
