Today is September 22, 2018 -
Tashlich is the custom of gathering together at a body of water to “cast away” our sins of the past year. We recite prayers and throw bread crumbs into the water to symbolize our wish to get rid of our sins and to be forgiven by God. We will celebrate Tashlich at Boystown Reservoir #3. We will meet at the synagogue at 4:45 pm and walk to the lake, and then return to Beth El for refreshments. Or you are welcome to meet us at the lake. Join us and experience a moment of community and prayer!
